What are the commonly used pipe fittings for cold extrusion hydraulic presses?

A pipe fitting is a detachable connection component used to join oil pipes to other oil pipes, as well as oil pipes to hydraulic components and parts. It should meet the following requirements: easy assembly and disassembly, reliable sealing, firm connections, compact external dimensions, strong flow capacity, low pressure drop, and good manufacturability.

There are many types of commonly used pipe fittings, and their specifications and varieties can be found in relevant manuals. By connection method between the fitting and the valve body or valve plate, we have threaded connections, flanged connections, and others. I. Welded Pipe Fittings

The basic structure of a welded pipe fitting consists of a fitting body, a connecting pipe, an O-ring seal, and a nut. The connecting pipe is welded to the steel pipe in the system. When the nut is tightened, the end face of the connecting pipe presses the O-ring seal tightly against the end face of the fitting body, thereby achieving a sealing effect. This type of pipe fitting boasts advantages such as simple construction and high pressure resistance; however, its main drawback is that welding is relatively cumbersome, making it suitable for connections involving high-pressure, thick-walled steel pipes.

II. Flared Pipe Fittings

The basic structure of a flared tube fitting consists of a fitting body, a guide sleeve, and a nut. It achieves sealing by means of the flared end of the tubing, which is compressed against the guide sleeve. This type of tube fitting has a simple structure and is suitable for connecting copper tubes, thin-walled steel tubes, nylon tubes, and plastic tubes.

3. Ferrule-type pipe fittings

The basic structure of a ferrule-type pipe fitting consists of a fitting body, a ferrule, and a nut. It achieves sealing by using a highly elastic ferrule that securely clamps onto the oil pipe. This type of fitting is characterized by its simple design, convenient installation, high-pressure resistance, excellent vibration resistance and anti-loosening performance, and is suitable for connecting high-pressure cold-drawn seamless steel pipes.

4. Compression-type pipe fittings

The compression-type pipe fitting consists primarily of a fitting sleeve, a fitting body, and a nut. This fitting is suitable for hose connections.

5. Quick-change pipe fittings

The quick-change pipe fitting primarily consists of a fitting body, a sliding sleeve, a check valve, steel balls, and other components. The sliding sleeve presses the steel balls into the grooves at the bottom, thereby connecting the fitting bodies together. Meanwhile, the check valves push against each other, opening the oil passages. When disconnection is required, simply push the sliding sleeve and pull out the fitting bodies, breaking the oil connection. At the same time, under the action of the spring, the check valves snap back onto the valve seats on the fitting bodies, sealing the hydraulic fluid within the two hoses. The sliding sleeve then returns to its original position under the influence of the spring. This type of pipe fitting is particularly suitable for hose connections that require frequent disassembly and reassembly.
