1. The machine must be installed on a level floor that can reliably support its own weight. Whenever possible, it is best to place a steel plate larger than the machine’s base dimensions beneath the machine to ensure even distribution of force on the floor.
Machines weighing 2,800 tons or more require pre-dug pits. The pits should be constructed according to the pit drawings specific to the relevant machine model. The machine can be installed only twenty days after the pit construction is completed, to ensure that the concrete has fully cured.
3. The hydraulic oil used must be brand-new, genuine 68-grade anti-wear hydraulic oil from a reputable manufacturer. The oil level should be above two-thirds of the oil-level sight window. Using oil that is severely oxidized, dirty, or contaminated can significantly shorten the machine’s service life and may even cause direct damage to the machine. To ensure optimal machine performance, we recommend using the hydraulic oil specifically designed for our cold extrusion presses, which is supplied by our company.
4. Unless otherwise specified, the machine shall be powered by a three-phase 380V supply. The motor’s rotation direction is clockwise when viewed from the shaft end.
5. The machine must be reliably grounded.
6. The cooling water must be connected as required to ensure that the hydraulic system temperature is kept below 45°C.
7. Under normal operating conditions, safety light curtains must be used to prevent safety accidents.
